The end of the Australian adventure is in less than a month… It is likely to be my last post from Melbourne…

But we will enjoy a last trip anyway.. I’m now going to present you the journey and people taken on board! The journey will be divided in 4 parts: the Australian east coast, Darwin, Thailand/Malaysia/Singapore, Hong Kong.

Team’s departure (“la fine équipe du 11″):

Start on the 24th of June 2008. Flight from Melbourne to Hamilton Island, 8:40am..

Landing on Hamilton Island. From there we will go to Airlie Beach (on the mainland) for the 3 following days (Sylvain’s 26th birthday and Euro 2008 semi-finals included).

Then, let’s go for a 3 days and 3 nights sailing trip accross the Whitsundays, on the great bareer reef. On a race-boat :) Following pictures are what we expect to see and live (we will sail on this particular boat):

One rest night in Airlie Beach, then we will heading up to Mission Beach, with a rental family car :)

2 days and 2 nights in Mission Beach, then heading up to Cairns.

3 days and 3 nights in Cairns. There is many things to do in and around Cairns! This is Cairns, and the lagoon on the waterfront:

At this point, the group is splitting (…). Benoît, Julien and Sylvain are coming back to Melbourne (with a stop in Sydney though). Charles, Thibault and me are flying to Darwin, in Northern Territory.

Then we will rent a van, and travel around Darwin and the Kakadu National Park. Yes it will be 3 people living in a big car for 5 days in the desert…

This is the moment where we will leave Australia… Fly to Singapore the 12th of July. One quick night in Singapore (just for the shower and the bed) then fly to Bangkok, Thailand.

My little brother Clément will meet us in Bangkok, the 14th of July.

3 or 4 days in Bangkok. Hope to see an underground boxe thai match, a tiger farm, a hurricane, an earthquake, the malaria, the dengue…

Heading to the south

Then: Ko Samui, first stop after Bangkok. I still don’t know how to travel from Bangkok to Ko Samui :)

But the place looks nice:

Then, on the west coast of Thailand: Phuket, one of the most touristic place in South East Asia.

Then, Krabi.. Looks like heaven on the pictures..

Then, Ko Phi Phi Islands. Still in heaven

Then, Ko Lanta, like the TV show :)

Then, we have to travel to the south, next to the Malaysian border. We will have to cross the border on a ferry. Then we will cross Malaysia from west to east, where we will stay for a while in Pulau Perhentian (an island- again). The ride (about 700 kms) is likely to be on a chicks truck (un camion avec des poules quoi)…

Then, in the south-east of Malaysia, Pulau Tioman.

Finally… Singapore! We will stay there about 2 days.

Last stop: Hong Kong. Charles is leaving us (to Paris), only Clém Thibault and me are flying to Hong Kong.

4 August: fly to Paris at 00:35am, one stop in Dubai. Landing in Paris at 13:30
